GRANIT™ Thieves bite the bullet here!

Our ABUS Granit padlocks were developed based on the specifications of Swedish insurance companies, which are known for their extremely high requirements. In the European CEN standards, which are also very demanding, granit locks regularly achieve classification in high classes.

The pull resistance of the Granit locks is six tons and more, making it virtually impossible for attackers to force the shackle out of the lock body. The special ABUS Plus locking system is extremely effective when it comes to warding off manipulative attempts to break in (for example picking).

Violent attacks on the cylinder are also prevented, as there is a steel plate in front of the cylinder opening that does not offer any grip to drills. The body and shackle of the Granit locks are coated with a special black coating that provides very high rust protection. All these features ensure that Granit padlocks are among the most secure in the world.

Weatherproof, strong, safe - and made entirely of stainless steel

Granit locks offer a high degree of rust resistance due to their special coating. But there are applications that have even higher requirements. For outdoor use in salt water environments, extreme weather conditions or other corrosive environments in industry, we recommend our Granit 37ST/55 padlock. This lock is made entirely of stainless steel and therefore cannot rust. Likewise, you do not have to do without the other Granit features such as our ABUS Plus cylinder or the extremely high pull resistance that characterizes all Granit padlocks.

All Granit locks are available in a so-called "SZP version". This version comes with a security card which contains information on how to make any duplicate keys. It is important to note that additional keys may only be made if the card is presented in person to the locksmith.

This means that the owner of the lock or card always has full control over how many duplicate keys are actually in circulation.
