Secured by SmartX™ The ABUS SmartX™ protocol is used for secure Bluetooth® communication between mobile devices (e.g. smartphone, tablet, smartwatch, etc.) and the product to be controlled. How cMAP works

You can use cMAP as a complete solution with all its components (cloud-based services, dashboard, mobile app, Bluetooth communication and hardware) if you use smart security products such as bike and motorbike locks or door drives from ABUS and want to operate them conveniently and securely.

We are also happy to provide individual components that can be adapted technically and in design to existing hardware or software: entirely according to your requirements.

The cloud

The cMAP cloud is the heart of the infrastructure between the software and the smart products. Component and user data is stored securely here. If required, we can connect the cMAP cloud to an existing cloud via a REST interface.

The ABUS security standards are implemented via our cMAP:

  • Hosting on Microsoft Azure
  • GDPR-compliant storage of data on European servers
  • Platform management by the company's own team of experts
  • Redundant systems with separation of front and back end as well as UAT, Live and Dev environments
  • Penetration tests for security checks of the IT infrastructure

cMAP Dashboard

The web-based dashboard and the mobile application on the smartphone form the visible interface for all cloud-based and application services.

The dashboard is used by administrators to clearly manage and control smart devices and their users.

The dashboard also provides an overview of the status of the device and its use. In addition, the devices can also be controlled directly via the dashboard when using a Wi-Fi bridge.

ABUS One App

The ABUS One app allows owners to set up the smart products, share access permission and obtain an overview of how the smart devices are used. Above all, however, the app can be used by both the owner and authorised users as a digital key for controlling smart products.

This also works offline via a secure Bluetooth® connection.

The hardware

Smart security products such as locks, door cylinders, key boxes or other smart devices can communicate directly with the cMAP if they are connected to the Internet via a Wi-Fi bridge.

This makes it possible, for example, to open doors remotely or to log when a particular person has been granted access to a product or property.

SmartX™

SmartX™ technology from ABUS ensures Bluetooth® communication between the smart product and smartphone. Even without a Wi-Fi connection, authorised users can control and operate the corresponding device via the app on their smartphone.

The ABUS One app © ABUS

The ABUS One app is used to control smart devices quickly and easily.

Do you want to integrate smart security products from ABUS into your processes? Or do you have IoT or smart products yourself and want to control them using secure SmartX technology? Our SmartX™-based app makes this possible. 

We are happy to customise the ABUS One app to your requirements and the processes of your business model. This means that we also offer the ABUS One app in co-branding or as a white label solution in your company's design.

In addition, we can integrate all SmartX™ functions into your own mobile application via our SDK (Software Development Kit).

This allows you to control your own smart devices or smart products from ABUS securely and easily from your own app.
