Whether you are traveling in an RV, a camper, van, or just pitching your tent at a campsite, one thing is certain: there’s no way to take your entire household with you. It’s important to pack thoughtfully, but not to forget anything important.

Our tips at a glance:

  • The basic equipment includes: Indestructible camping dishes and utensils, camp stoves, and food that has a long shelf life.
  • To keep your grill or bikes from being stolen out front of tent while you’re right around the corner, for example, it is also advisable to make sure you have a basic set of security products - such as with the Combiflex roll-back cable lock.
  • Sometimes the weather can change quickly. Not only might the sun briefly disappear behind a cloud, but there might even be a nasty wind coming up. With our different length bungee cords in the set, you can give items flexible support.
  • Remember your travel documents. It is best to make copies of the most important documents (ID card, passport, driver's license, vaccination certificate) in advance so that it is easier for you to prove your identity later if you lose them. An RFID blocker for debit and credit cards can also be a good way to prevent your cards from being read by strangers.
  • Pack a ground sheet for the tent, which can be helpful especially when the ground is damp.
  • For your bike lock and backpack lock, our PS88 care spray cleans dirty cylinders in just a few moments.

The laws around wild camping vary from country to country. In Germany, for example, it is generally forbidden to spend the night with your camper, caravan or tent somewhere on the side of the road, in a parking lot or generally outside an official campsite in the wild. But with the so-called "bivouacking" (camping with a sleeping mat and sleeping bag) on the other hand, it is often possible.

Basically, in many European countries it is first of all forbidden to pitch your tent anywhere in the great outdoors. In Finland, Sweden and Norway, on the other hand, it is allowed, but with some restrictions.

Therefore applies: Find out in advance what the situation is with wild camping in your vacation region.

You can’t have tea (or coffee) in the morning without a fire. Or a crackling campfire with stick bread in the evening.

We offer appropriate fire safety products so you can relax when you light your fire and let sparks fly at the campfire. In an emergency, you'll be able to react quickly thanks to the fire blanket or fire extinguisher spray . And with our mini smoke alarm, you can sleep in your camper van or caravan without worry.

Fluttering in the wind: Wet towels dry much better on a line than on a camp chair. Our bungee cords can be converted into a clothes line in no time at all. They also reliably secure luggage in the camper van or caravan and objects outside from gusts of wind. Available in different lengths and with different attachments.

Also a must-have when camping: our pen light. It fits in any pocket, is waterproof and even magnetic. Perfect for camping when your luggage needs to be as light as possible. Do you always like to read for a while in the tent at night, but your partner would rather sleep? Then we recommend reaching for one of our three SecLight torches. The red light function ensures that your tent neighbour isn't disturbed while you read.

One of you wants to jog around the lake, the other wants to go down to the village for bread...  but there’s only one key?

With our lockable KeyGarage key box you can make it work! Use the shackle to attach the key box to a fixed object, for example the door handle on the camper van or van, and store the key there, protected with a multi-digit code. You can also use our KeyGarage if you want to store USB sticks with important documents or other smaller items such as shower tokens, credit cards and the like.

When camping, you usually have to ensure that all mobile items can be protected from being accessed by others at any time with a few simple steps: lock the bike to the rack, protect the backpack from opportunistic thieves or lock the tent.

With our padlocks and the practical Combiflex lock, you are very well prepared for anything that could happen. And if a key should ever get stuck in the lock, there's our PS88 lock cylinder lubricant spray
