SIMPLE. ACCESS. ORGANISATION.
WITH THE DIGITAL TECTIQ LOCKING SYSTEM.
The outdoor reader (IP67) impresses with its scratch-resistant glass surface and robust metal housing with a stainless steel look. Data transmission with the TECTIQ locking media (MIFARE® DESFire®) is fast and secure via RFID. The reader signals the permission and system status visually and acoustically.
TECTIQ wall reader or update terminal
In combination and depending on the control unit selected, the reader unit functions as an update terminal with optional access function or as a wall reader for controlling electronic door and gate drives and other actuators.
Update terminal: validation/updating
Together with the update terminal control unit, the reader unit forms an intelligent TECTIQ update terminal. There, users validate/update their locking medium virtually in passing when they present it. The validity of the locking medium is extended in each case, e.g. by a further 24 hours. The permission data on the locking medium is synchronised and updated with the access control panel. This means that the data on the transponders is always up-to-date and protects the system thanks to the short validity extension interval.
Flexible, secure installation
The separate installation of the reader unit (outdoor) and control unit (indoor) via a 4-pin connecting cable (RS485 bus, up to 100 m distance) offers a high level of protection against tampering and prevents network cables from being accessible from outside.
Efficient software administration
The TECTIQ Access Manager software makes set-up and administration easy. Data transfer to the TECTIQ wall reader (maintenance, firmware updates, etc.) is quick and easy using the TECTIQ Admin app and Bluetooth interface (BLE) as well as a system transponder.
