Richie Schley joined the ABUS family in 2019. Since then, he has played an instrumental role in the development of ABUS mountain helmets. With his years of experience riding around the toughest trails around world, he has helped define the essential features of the CliffHanger. During the development phase, he tested the helmet to ensure it met his high standards, and also perform in all conditions.

The CliffHanger was developed specifically for enduro mountain bikers.
With its lightweight and outstanding ventilation, the CliffHanger ensures a cool head when pedaling up hill to your favorite downhill run.
The visor is adjustable to three positions. Flip it up to easily store goggles or sunglasses underneath. Recesses in the helmet ensure that the glasses fit comfortably and securely while riding. With mounting points for accessories like cameras, riders can capture their personal Freedom moments.
The helmet combines a lightweight design and ventilation, with next-generation safety features and performance. In addition to the standard and a MIPS version, this helmet is also available with QUIN, our smart crash detection system.
