Wetter/Ruhr – The ABUS Touch is the new interpretation of the classic padlock. It opens automatically as soon as the finger is placed on the 360° sensor. The Touch can be used both indoors and outdoors, even a short immersion in water does not affect the function. Thanks to encrypted memory for 20 different fingerprints, the lock is an optimal solution for a larger circle of people, such as for the shared bike cellar.
Whether it's the cellar in an apartment building, the equipment locker in a sports club or a locker at school. Everywhere there the padlock remains indispensable. Now you can also use a "smart" solution in these places - the new ABUS Touch padlock opens by fingerprint. As you would expect from ABUS, a high value was placed on the topic of security during development. As a result, thanks to double ball locking, hardened shackle, encrypted memory and IP66/IP68 protection classes, the ABUS Touch is the secure, robust and weatherproof alternative for the classic padlock - with added convenience.
Versatile use - up to 20 different users With a memory for 20 different fingerprints, the ABUS Touch is the perfect solution if other users also want to operate the lock. The fingerprints can be easily deleted at any time and replaced by new users. The lost or forgotten key is thus a thing of the past.
Independent from smartphone and power socket As a stand-alone solution, the lock can be operated completely independently of laptops, smartphones and the like. Fingerprints can be saved and deleted on the lock itself by one of two possible administrators. The ABUS Touch is powered by a CR2 battery in the lock body, which enables up to 10,000 locking operations thanks to an efficient energy concept. If the battery power runs low, the lock emits a clear warning signal. The battery can then be replaced by the user - the fingerprints that have been taught in remain stored. The lock cannot be unlocked when the battery is empty or removed.
